Theme & Mission Alignment All poster submissions should connect to the symposium theme, The Emotional Emergency: Reproductive Loss Beyond the Medical Moment, and the mission of the Institute of Reproductive Grief Care. Strong submissions will help advance understanding, education, research, and practice related to reproductive grief, with particular attention to the emotional, psychological, relational, spiritual, and systems-level needs that often extend beyond the medical moment. Your abstract and poster should be written for a multidisciplinary global audience that includes healthcare providers, academic researchers, community leaders, students, and specialized care providers. A visual summary of an original empirical study that answers a specific scientific, clinical, academic, or practice-based question through data collection and analysis. Goal: To contribute new knowledge or validate existing theories within a field. A description of a specific action, program, curriculum, or tool implemented to improve learning outcomes, strengthen practice, or change behavior. Goal: To showcase an educational strategy and evaluate its effectiveness. Your poster should be accessible, relevant, and meaningful to a multidisciplinary global audience. Doctors, nurses, social workers, midwives, students, trainees, and allied health professionals from around the world. Doulas, chaplains, bereavement specialists, peer support leaders, and mental health professionals. Hospital executives, nonprofit leaders, professors, researchers, educators, and community leaders. All submissions must include the following elements. Submit a 200-word summary of the research study or educational intervention to be presented. Submit a 100-word explanation of how the work aligns with the mission of the Institute of Reproductive Grief Care and the theme of the 2027 Symposium. June 2026: Poster Submissions Portal Launches December 15, 2026: Deadline for Poster Submissions January 16, 2027: Notice of Poster Acceptance February 15, 2027: High-quality JPEG or PDF of the poster is due February 28, 2027: Physical posters must be postmarked to the Institute of Reproductive Grief Care office March 5, 2027: Poster explanation is due April 9, 2027: Symposium in San Diego, CA Accepted submitters may attend in person or virtually. The symposium registration fee is waived for chosen submitters. Submitters are responsible for their own travel and accommodations. All accepted submissions may compete for the Top Poster Award, recognized during the symposium luncheon. Your design does not need to match this layout exactly; however, posters should be easy to navigate, visually engaging, and clearly communicate key findings or educational outcomes.
